BIO Mediterranean Bread

Here’s a recipe variation for Mediterranean bread with a refreshing hummus and yogurt spread, enriched with olive oil, smoked paprika, nuts, and fresh cilantro. Mediterranean bread is juicy and aromatic, and its flavor will perfectly complement the creamy, aromatic spread that refreshes and enhances every bite.

Ingredients

  • 400 g BIO Mediterranean bread mix
  • 7 g di-go dry yeast
  • 380 ml warm water
  • 20 ml oil

For the spread:
  • 150 g hummus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Pinch of smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts or almonds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro or parsley

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, place 400 g BIO Mediterranean bread mix and 7 g di-go dry yeast and mix gently. Add 380 ml warm water and mix with a spoon for about two minutes.
  2. Grease a rectangular baking pan with oil. Place the dough in it and brush with oil, then add toppings as desired. Cover with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place for 25 to 35 minutes.
  3. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 210-220 degrees Celsius. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
  4. Remove the baked bread from the pan and let it cool. Slice the cooled bread.
  5. In a small bowl, place the spread of your choice, yogurt, salt, and ground spices and mix gently.
  6. Spread the mixture on a slice of bread and serve.
