Mediterranean Bread

Want to give your meal a Mediterranean touch? Here’s a recipe variation for Mediterranean bread with a refreshing yogurt spread, fresh chives and parsley. Mediterranean bread is juicy and aromatic, and its flavor will perfectly complement the fresh yogurt spread enriched with aromatic chives and parsley.

Ingredients

  • 400 g di-go ready mix or BIO mix for Mediterranean bread
  • 7 g di-go dry yeast
  • 380 ml warm water
  • 20 ml oil

Sauce:
  • 150 g spread of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add 400 g Mediterranean bread mix or BIO mix and 7 g di-go dry yeast, then gently mix. Add 380 ml warm water and mix with a spoon for about two minutes.
  2. Grease a rectangular baking pan with oil. Place the dough in it and brush with oil, then add toppings as desired. Cover with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place for 25 to 35 minutes.
  3. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 210-220 degrees Celsius. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
  4. Remove the baked bread from the pan and let it cool. Slice the cooled bread.
  5. In a small bowl, place the spread of your choice, yogurt, salt, and ground spices and mix gently.
  6. Spread the mixture on a slice of bread and serve.
