Savory Muffins

Ingredients

  • 400 g di-go ready mix or BIO mix for multigrain bread
  • 7 g di-go dry yeast
  • 320 ml warm water
  • 50 g melted butter
  • 100 g grated Emmental cheese
  • 100 g grated Gouda cheese
  • 150 g ham diced
  • 1 red pepper diced
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, put 400 g of multigrain bread mix or BIO multigrain bread mix and 7 g di-go dry yeast and mix. Add 320 ml warm water and mix with a spoon for about two minutes.
  2. After two minutes, when the mixture is smooth, add the melted butter, cheese, ham, peppers and chives and gently mix everything so the ingredients combine.
  3. Grease the muffin tin with butter and fill it with the mixture using an ice cream scoop or regular spoon. Leave covered in a warm place for 25 to 35 minutes.
  4. Put the tin in an oven preheated to 210-220 degrees Celsius (with both heating elements on), on the lower level. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
  5. Remove the baked muffins from the oven and serve.
